Straw bale houses offer 3 times the fire resistance of conventional construction.
Straw rates highly as a sustainable material because it bypasses large amounts of energy that are needed to produce industrial building materials, therefore making it a clean and more environmentally friendly form of construction. Straw bale houses once constructed are more environmentally friendly than traditionally built houses.
Most of the materials that can be used in straw bale construction are completely interchangeable with traditional construction methods. .
